Happy Cosmonautics day!🌍🚀
Today the man firstly traveled into space!
“…The humanity won’t stay on the Earth forever, but, chasing light and space, will,
shyly at first, exceed the atmosphere limits and then gain the space near the sun”.
K. E. Tsiolkovsky
The International Day of Human Space Flight (in other official languages of the UN: Russian. Международный день полёта человека в космос, Spanish. Día Internacional de los Vuelos Espaciales Tripulados, French. Journée internationale du vol spatial habité), which is also Cosmonautics Day in Russia and other countries, is the annual celebration, held on April 12, of the anniversary of the first human space flight by Yuri Gagarin. It was proclaimed at the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly on April 7, 2011.
Yuri Gagarin carried out Vostok 1 space flight in 1961, making one orbit around the Earth over 108 minutes in the Vostok 3KA spacecraft launched by Vostok-K launch vehicle.
listen, guys. I know that cosmonautics day is coming to an end, but still I will lay out my art.
I hope you like it!
Happy Cosmonautics Day, everybody!
Today and for the rest of this week there are cosmos-related events around here, like lectures, exhibitions, races, rocket building competitions, etc. TVs have put on movies about space, several observatories have opened their doors, and our government has declassified some documents about Gagarin, because why not.
Take care and be sure to stare into the incomprehensible vastness of space at least once this week to celebrate~!

Having made my flight around the globe by the “Vostok” spaceship, I had seen how beautiful our planet is. People, let’s care over and grow up this beauty, not destroy it.
